Last year i walked and ended up bruising two of my toe nails that ended up falling off :( Does anyone recommend switching half way through into sandals? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I heard that here but neither I nor any of my team mates have received any official notice, nor can I find anything on the web site. I am envisioning a screwup where half the walkers go back to the Ex unless the communication is more directed.
