Is Downsview a sure thing as the start and end point?

I heard that here but neither I nor any of my team mates have received any official notice, nor can I find anything on the web site.

I am envisioning a screwup where half the walkers go back to the Ex unless the communication is more directed.

I got an email from The Weekend coaches on June 9th stating the new location. I haven't received anything since.
Here's the first paragraph of the email cut & pasted: Join us this year at our NEW All-In-One venue! The Shoppers Drug MartŪ Weekend to End Womens Cancers benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret will enhance your experience and increase the impact of the dollars you raise by hosting the event from beginning to end at Downsview Park.

On the web site under "Weekend Prep" -- "Arriving on site" it does state "Opening Ceremonies, Camp, and Closing Ceremonies are all at Downsview Parc."

I believe it also stated that when you do your "on line check in" but can't remember for sure.

I really enjoyed the start at the Princes Gates at the Ex. And it was so meaningful to walk past Princess Margaret Hospital. I don't think we will be able to do that now and it's a damned shame. I have a friend I have walked with for 2 years, a survivor and she is so upset by this that she is actually reconsidering walking this year.
