Wohoooo Sweep Van crew is under way. I am proud to say The Zoomobile will be back again this year for a second year!!!! I had an amazing time last year pumping you walkers up and keeping you going all weekend long. This year I'm starting a bit early trying to have a vehicle donated and magnetic signs for the van/suv and maybe even some tshirts and baseball caps. And if i'm lucky I'll be renting speakers to ROCK OUT THE TUNES!!
I would love to hear back on any ideas of what you walkers want from the Sweep Van crew?? What do we do well and keep on doing it? What do we not do well that I can speak up for you at our meetings?

Wohooooo I have secured a donated van!!! Very excited. I have a megaphone to borrow from work as well and now I just need to look into getting some speakers that will connect up to my ipod.
Anyone have any idea on where to get some magnetic signs made??? Other then that I can use my window crayons to draw on the windows that will wash away nice and clean.

I just did a quick google check and found the following options for car magnets: vistaprint.ca; snapsigns.ca; hasmarketing.ca; justmagnets.ca. There were others found in the search, these are just the top ones that came up.
I don't have experience with any of these companies, but it is a start for you to do some research.

2011 in Ottawa in June was a successful 2 day, 60km Walk for Noreen and I. Whoohoo!!! See you in 2012!
Your support always perks me up during the walk...helps me go that extra mile! I am wondering if there is a limit to the music as I didn't here it as often last year...it helps alot!
Hi Jen. We are allowed to play music, but we have to be aware in residential area's and be more quiet during the early hours for sure. I know particularily I had sound issues last year. My speakers crapped out and I had to play music from inside my car stereo. BIG THUMBS DOWN!!
This year, not the case. Proper stereo has already been tested and working well. Just need to configure it for the Van.
We had our crew meeting last night and we are all very excited to help all you walkers out. Hollywood Van is returning and this year she brought her sister along and there will be a sister van themed Las Vegas. As you know, I'm The Zoomobile and I'm returning as well.
Aloha is returning but unsure if they are using the same theme or switching it up. Boob Bra-gade and Boo Boobs are also returning Sweep Vans. There is one more returning and at this time my memory fails me. :(
We have lots of new vans and I'm excited to see what their themes end up being come Saturday morning.
The all crew meeting is set for Friday and we are so pumped for the event. We hope to help make this yet another successful year ;)

Ahhh shucks thanks Devmegsmum. We are just happy to be able to support all you walkers in the amazing walk you will be on. Being a walker, twice, I know how important we are. And that's why I continue to be on the crew to help.
I'm the crazy one with the crazy laugh just to make you guys smile. That is what it's about for me, to make sure you are enjoying yourselves, laughing and loving the experience that is The Weekend. And if me spending my time being crazy and playing loud music keep you folks entertained, while being there in case of emergency, lift to next station, an ear to lean on, I'll continue to do that until a cure is found.
