I'm starting to stress BIG TIME. I'm a second year walker and although raising funds was hard last year, this year has been so tough. I have currenlty raised $700 by asking for donations, holding a bowling fundraiser and a tag day at the lcbo. Last year at the finishline I convinced my sister to walk with me and she has raised $1250 so far. We have a tag day scheduled for the weekend after the walk but donations don't seem to be as large this year as last year. Any suggestions on raising some money?
We have both covered our work, friends and families. It seems even harder when most of our donations would come from the same people.
I agree last year was tough, but this year has been a long haul to get to the goal. I had to self pledge and am truly hoping I can make it up before the deadline. I am trying not to stress about it but...am getting excited about walking and seeing the other walkers.
