I know I am going to have a really hard time getting a team together, because not only is it hard to convince people to give when the money isn't going to stay here in Northwestern Ontario, but finding people to walk with me and getting them to raise $2000 is near impossible.
I know I can walk on my own, but honestly thats really gonna stink. I guess I'm just really nervous and I only got all my information including login and password today.
If you ask your Walker Coach at the office, they might be able to help you find people in Thunder Bay. They can do a postal code search. Maybe that way you can hook up with someone near you to train with.
Remember that one the walk, you will never be walking alone. You will have 5000 other walking partners and new friends to be there every step of the way. That's great thing about this event. No matter who you are, where you come from, what you look like, we are all there for one common goal, one goal, that unites us for 60km and beyond....ending women's cancers!
