It feels like it's less big, but $11M + is pretty good!

I'm envisioning it going 10 years and then stopping.

considering the economy, and the other larger event, the Ride to Conquer Cancer, I think we're still doing pretty well.

Hopefully the changes to include the 1 day walkers, and the other big one of the name change to include all Women's cancers, will broaden the appeal, and raise the bar to the amount donated.

I think as long as the economies of scale work to the positive side for PMH, then the event will continue.

I would like to be able to walk with my daughter in 3 years!

I feel the opposite about the name change. I think changing the name of such an established and well known event is a huge marketing mistake. I feel this will be the beginning of the end of the WEBC.

But that is just me and my experience. In some cases, a name change for a certain product can expand the appeal and target audience. But I feel in this case, it is too generic, not inclusive, and there was no issue with the original name. It may just be seen as a copy-cat event if people don't realize it was actually just a name change.

Not sure about the name change either, but I am glad that they are including other cancers. I guess time will tell.
