not to worry. You will not be alone, you will be with the thousands of others.
Look at it as an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends!

Just start chatting with whoever is in front of you or behind you, by the end of the weekend
you will have forgotten that you started out on your own!

I know this may sound sappy, but really, it is true!

Hi Kathy,

Harold's Harem would love you to join our team. We have team members from all over Ontario.  You can email Harold (Team Captain) at denov@rogers.com Tell him Joanne invited you to join the team. We are having a team dinner on the Friday night.

I too am walking solo, my best friend and I were going to...let's just say she no longer can... so, I am hoping that what you have written is true to form. I do not want to be alone all weekend even though I am a solo walker.

You will never walk alone. I too was a solo walker a few years ago. I just started talking to people and before I knew it, I had 10 walking partners. Then, just by fluke, I happened to run into someone I had been a soccer/hockey/rugby mom with. We've been walking partners ever since. You just never know who you might meet at the WETBC!
Good Luck!

I'm walking alone also (no team) ... just looking for another "quick paced" walking buddy...staying at the sheraton the night before..anybody interested in a walking friend? :) ...
although from what I read - as soon as we start walking it will all work itself out! I did ask many people to walk wiht me but all found the fundraising a bit intimidating...you should see the interest for NEXT year though. Ground breaking isn't really my style... but I have a feeling this walk is going to be FUN!!
