I have heard some rumblings about having bags transferred to camp if you are not camping. Are they still doing that this year?? Can you sign up for this with the online check in?? Being the delicate flower I am (LOL!!!) I like to stay in a hotel but I need my bag to go to camp. Any info from anyone??
Well unless it has changed you would just get your tent assignment as usual and they transfer your bags to your tent and you would just pick it up and go from there.
As far as I know they will transfer your bags to camp as long as you do the tent signup...now I don't know if you did the bike ride but they actually had a truck specifically for people who were not camping!
If you want you can sign up for a tent assignment with me, then just pick up your bags from the tent and go to the hotel. You'd be helping me out and getting your bags delivered to camp :)
There has always been a truck that is just for non-campers. And last year they had our bags right by the taxi area. It was much much easier then having the bags by the tents. Do not regsiter for a tent if you do not need it - just means that the crew/volunteers will set up.take down tents that do not get used and deliver bags that do not have to be delivered.
