I might have just completely missed this info somewhere, but I had a sponsor who gave me cash, and I was going to make in a money order and send it in, but if I just do it online with MY VISA, will it make the tax receipt in my name, or the name of the actual donor? Sorry if this is a stupid question, haha.
All you need to do, is if someone gives you cash, and you want to put the donation online using your own credit card, just fill in all the information showing the donors name and address and email. The tax receipt will be emailed to them. The only part you put your own information in, is in the credit card info part.
I do my donations this way all the time. Just make sure you aren't logged in. Just go to the site, click donated now, and look up your name to get to your page.
