I don't know a lot about it, but I know that the registration will be online prior to the Friday before. You'll go on, watch the safety video, set up your tent info, etc. Once you've done all that, then they will mail you (via the post office) your credential (card you wear around your neck). I'm not sure how early they'll open the registration in advance. I'm also assuming that you need to have your $2,000 before you can register, but I do know they said you can bring last minute donations with you on Saturday morning. (That would be a huge hassle so I'm going to make sure all my money is in).
That's all I know. I do know they'll update the website as soon as they have more info.

2011 will be my sixth year walking, but it will be Ottawa this year.
I will be finalizing my Ottawa walk this weekend and will do the online reg at that time.
I will let you know how it goes. I do know there are cut off dates. One to get your credentials mailed to you and another date to pick them up on Sat. Morn.
Noreen is correct, if you have any outstanding donations you will bring them on Sat morn. but I suggest you come a little earlier than you normally would to give yourself time to get them in and a bite to eat. On a further note, I would never hand in cash as last year 900.00 went missing which I turned in on Day Zero. Eventually they credited me with the money but I would not risk that again. That was in Montreal BTW. Just a suggestion. I have walked for 4 years and that was the first time but I wouldn't want it to happen again. I will write a personal cheque as opposed to turning in cash.
Will keep you posted on how the online works.

Great, thanks for the info - good luck in Ottawa - see you in T.O. - I recognise your face from previous walks! This year I'll be in a pink lanyard - diagnosed Dec 8th 2008 but doing well so far.
