Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone on the boards has participated in the walk in the past pregnant. If so, how far along were you? How were you feeling? Did your doctor/midwife allow you to walk the full weekend/part of the weekend/judge it yourself based on how you were feeling??
I remeber one year (I beleive it was 2006) There was a lady who walked and gave birth Sat night. My suggestion is to talk to your doctors and see how you feel each step of the way.

When you think that you have walked as far as you think you can, you have only walked half the distance you are capable of
Yep, it's possible! I did my first walk when I was at the 25 week mark. My doc advised to go ahead as long as I was feeling up for it. I think it all depends on you - how you're feeling, how much energy you have, and whether you've had any "complications". Just listen to your body. Only you will know for sure if it's time to pull out.
I can tell you though, the bigger challenge is walking while you're still nursing a baby. That was my issue last year. I had my mother-in-law shuttling the baby to various pit stops and the lunch break so I could feed my daughter. That was fun :)
