My mom and I are first time walkers for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer and we are very excited!!
My boyfriend Kevin (who is sign up to be a crew member) has offered to collect all of his tips on Friday, April 17th 2008 and donate them to the walk.
He works at House of Wings in Oakville! They have 88 flavors of chicken wings, and beyond that they have burger, wraps and boneless chicken wings!
There is two locations, he works at what is called the "North Store" at 2501 Third Line. It is basically at the corner of Third Line and Highway 5!! I will be stopping by after I am done working at my own job!
Please ensure you ask to be seated in Kevin's Section, as they other waitress are not included in the fundraising!

That's great that Kevin has offered to donate his tips! :) I'm a vegetarian but I'll check out and see if there's a menu online to see if there's anything I can eat. If so, then I'll try to stop in for dinner. I'm out in Brampton, but I'll see if I can get some people to come out with me if I can make it. I'll also let any friends know that live out that way.

Thanks so much!! I am super pumped, although a little sad that I have to work myself til 9:30, but I still hope to see a bunch of people at that point!
I tried to get out there, but just couldn't make it..... My husband and I had an art/craft show in Brantford on Saturday and were still working on last minute things for it on Friday night.
So how did it go?? Did you guys raise much?

It went really well! We were able to raise $420 in just a few short hours! I know that Kevin said it was very busy, I was quite sad that I wasnt able to make it til later in the evening, when it was a bit slower. We are looking forward to planning our next fundraiser!
Wow, that's really good! :) It would have been great if the restaurant had of pitched in and matched the amount or something. :) $420 is really good though!
