We're going to be at the Ancaster Walmart next Saturday March 7th starting at 10am. This is our first year in the walk and our very first fundraising event to kick things off. If you live in the area come on out and say hi!! We'd love to see you and to hear any tips and tricks you may have regarding fundraising.
We're going to have a table set up with loads of pink ribbon items (duckies, teddy bears, jewellery, chocolate etc) Our premise is going to be with each $5 donation a person makes they can pick any item off the table and they also get a ballot to enter our draw to win one of a few prizes we have on display (including a $150 gift certificate for a house cleaning/property maintenance company, a $60 gift certificate for a local women's kickboxing place etc). We're hoping our first fundraising adventure is going to be a great success!!! Come on out and show your support!
Also, on Saturday April 4th we are holding a fundraising party at the John W. Foote Armouries (200 James St. N in Hamilton) mark it on your calendar and bring some friends!! There will be food, music, cheap drinks, prizes, raffles etc. It should be lots of fun. Tickets are $10, just show up and get one at the door!

Sounds like you have a nice plan for Saturday, I hope the weather holds out for you and your fundraising is a huge success. I live in Brantford and would of loved to come and meet you, but unfortunately will be heading out of town on the Friday. I wish for all the best for you and your efforts, I know it is alot of work getting everything together, but it is rewarding!!
