This year will be my 3rd year walking and I've nearly drained the bank accounts of my friends and family, so this year I really want to raise as much money as I can and I want to reach out to the public. I hear everyone talking about how successful tag days can be and I was wondering if anyone can give me tips on how to approach stores to ask for a tag day and also which stores are more likely to say yes, and generate the most money. Do you have any suggestions like should I sell merchandise or just simply ask for donations? Any tips or tricks would be great!!!
Hi You take your letter from WEWC to store and ask for tag days sometimes good to sell stuff but Walmart is good if you get them to give you days then ask if they will match so you double your money so better not to sell there because you have to had in your money and they send you a chq made out to WEWC. If you send letter to lcbo and ask for tag days if you get then they will let you know what stores and dates you can do them. Good luck Terry
