Your self-donations count, it just takes time for the credit to come. They usually show up a month after the end date of the promo. You should get a tax receipt for your donation, but not the $100 credit.
The one of the registration form clearly said that if you give a $100 self donation you would recieve a $100 credit, and the one of the website says if you raise $100 by oct 31st. These don't sound the same to me at all. I was under the impression they were mutualy exclusive. Why even mention a $100 self donation AT ALL in the first place?? Nowhere on the form I filled out did it say I could raise the $100 by other means.
I'm prety pissed off. Overall it doesn't effect me, I can raise the money myself, but I don't appreciate being mislead.
At least it doesn't effect me *now*. At the time I didn't really have the $100 but I made the donation anyway to get the credit.

Didds, I hear ya chickie...things seemed to have changed dramatically somewhere along the way...I wish you all the best sorting it out. Once my $200 donation finally shows up I am in the clear and finished with dealing with the office. chok dii kha, trish

After being told repeatedly that once they had found all the donations I would have until the end of the year to secure my donations. As I had stopped sending in donations during the "oh we did not receive any donations from you...mess" Danielle and Heidi, I was told we would have until December at least to get this all figured out. Only to once again find that promises are broken. I would not only like this charge removed from VISA today. But, I would also like the $4 from each of the charges to 'test' the VISA card returned to my VISA and the payment you just took last night, as well as the $1.50 for the cheque I had to pay to convince you that yes indeed I had sent cheques that had been removed from my account and that you needed to locate the monies donated. I would like to know that this has happened and then I will send in the final donation that has been waiting for the cheque to clear due to the ISSUES on your part. I am completely disappointed with this entire fisacal. Please send me an email once the charges are all reversed for my VISA file. trish"
You would think that by now after how many years they would have the glitches pretty much figured out....here is the response to the email above..."Hi Trish,
There was a technical error with the charges that went through yesterday and you will be refunded by end of day today. Unfortunately, the $4 ($2 to each you and Doug) for holding your DSP is non-refundable and is not possible on our end, nor can we credit you $1.50 for the cheque. Again, we apologize for any miscommunication on our end.
