Hi All:

Just a friendly reminder that if you raise $100 on your 2011 page, before October 31st, you will receive an additional $100 Hope Credit.

If they're going to offer this, we might as well take advantage of it.

:)

Also, don't forget that if you recruit someone, have them use you as a reference and you'll receive another $100 Hope Credit for each new walker (before December 31st, 2010).

From what I understand this takes away from actual money raised...maybe someone could clarify this for me but I prefer to raise all $2000 myself!

I've never viewed it as taking away. I guess for those people who self pledge to get to the $2K mark it's $100 they don't have to pledge, but I would think most real donors don't really look at your limit. And for those who have to self pledge, better that they get the help than not walk at all.

In any case, I donated $100 to myself already to get the matching. No idea why since I am always well over $2K. I guess I figure they want people donating early and I'm helping out.

It takes a while before they process the credits.
