Does anyone else feel like the weekend has come and gone WAY TOO quickly?
I wish there was another event so I could help crew or something.
(Another note: I was just on the endcancer.ca website reading everyone's 'stories'. And if you haven't already, please take the time to read them. They're so touching!!)
Inn to Inn cross-country skiing to end cancer maybe?
Carolyn

The Indiana walk & The Kentucky ride are on the 25&26. Terry Fox run this weekend, the Centurion bike ride is this weekend as well in Collingwood they are still looking for volunteers. Just so you know! :)
Actually, yesterday I signed up to volunteer for the CIBC Run and sent an email to 'Light the Night' -- both of which I volunteered for last year so here's hoping they need another body! haha
And as for the ride in Collingwood this weekend, well my manager is riding in it. haha Although he promised me he'd pretend he didn't know me. haha
I also do the Relay for Life. I volunteer there but you can have a team set up a tent and walk all night. Surivors do the first lap. The luminarys are a quite a site when all lit up. They are held all over On. If interested check it out online for one near you.
I'll see you at Light the Night. Why not come walk with my team this year? Chad, Louise, and a bunch of BOH team members have joined. Only $25, and it's not even 5km. Here is the link to join
Everyone is welcome to join, Light the Night benefits Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma Reseach. So many of us have been affected by many cancers, blood cancers being one of them. I know you've all done a ton to raise money for WEWC, and that's why I ask only a $25 self donation for an incredible 5km walk on Oct 7
Want to know more, please just contact me through my email below.
I signed up for light the night :) My boyfriend's dad had lymphoma.
I want to make the $100 threshold. I'm not opposed to self donating, but the whole $100 is kind of steep for me right now. I don't feel like I can approach my weekend donors... I pester them enough as it is!
If anyone wants to throw $5 or $10 my way for this event I'd appreciate it, but also understand if you don't. After all, I'm just a stranger on the internet.
Leigh, You're welcome to join my team. The $25 self donate was only a suggestions as I know everyone is pretty tapped out from WEWC. The team is called TNT Alumni Family & Friends. There are lots of WEWC on the team already. All you need to do is call the office to move you over to us Plus you're welcome to have anyone you want join us as well. Contact me for details if you want thanks!
