I am so thrilled to once again be part of Team Trade Secrets. We are going to have a fabulous pit stop this year. For those of you who were there last year, remember how much fun it was at lunch. This year, we'll be the pit stop after lunch, so make sure not to walk right by as there will be special surprises for everyone!
And Think Pink Direct will have a table there for you to pick up any goodies that you want to pack into you fanny packs, wear on your head, yes, lots of hats, rain ponchos (only if we need them) and some fun little things, easy to carry with you till the end. ' Some of you might remember my husband Richard, and my girls Carly & Hailey, they will be there to help you make your choices again this year.
So please drop by and say HI! I might or might not be there depending on when you come by, as this will be my 8th year walking, which means 8 years cancer free for my Mom!!
see you next weekend Randy www.thinkpinkdirect.com
Looking forward to seeing you again this year. I do believe you saved me last year when we bought those cooler things for around your neck. They were the best!
I did have a few of them last year....I will try and get some for this year...I forgot about them! THanks for the reminder!
If there is anything that someone wants, please let me know and I will do my best to bring it. Keeping in mind that I only have a small amount of space.
Last year the flip flops were a hit, and now being closer to base camp, people can simply hook them only thier fanny pack belt or water bottle belt!
That's great Randy. Hopefully I'll see you there (or at least somewhere else along the route again!!) I think it was at the beer house last year, that I ran in to you. :)

2011 will be my sixth year walking, but it will be Ottawa this year.
Will you have more of those flipflops? They are the best flipflops I've ever had. I couldn't believe you had them to fit my itty bitty feet!! I want another pair!!
Funny...I was thinking of bringing them as it is later in the day and they can easily be hooked onto something till we get to camp. They are really good quality flipflops! I'll pack some for my husband to bring. Thanks!
I'm going to bring some items that represent other cancers Purple-gynocological cancers, and also is used to represent all cancers, and Relay for Life Teal-ovarian and cervical cancers yellow- a generic cancer colour Multi ribbon items ...so no matter why you're walking, there will be something from Think Pink Direct for you
Randy, will we be able to use debit or a credit card to buy something or will it be cash only? My friend and I are first time walkers and so excited. Want to have something on us to show our support, but haven't found anything yet. Sounds like we might find something there!
I'm not set up for debit or credit, so it will be cash or cheques only. You'll find lots of great options. You can also check out my website, the link is below my name for lots of ideas.
Also keep in mind that these are my retail pricing, I do offer lower pricing with reasonable minimums on most items on the site as well. You can contact me at the email below to get the lower pricing list. Great items for fundraising for 2011, and great thank-you items for 2010.
Are your items for sale only at the Day 1 Pit Stop #3 shop, or will you have a display/trunk sale at Camp as well? Since I'm on Crew I do not believe that I will be able to stop and check out your Pit Stop shop, as I understand that we are "on the move" most of the time, so breaks are very limited for us as long as the route is open.
Thanks, Carolyn (fellow Trade Secrets teammate )
P.S. I am interested in getting a copy of your fundraising price list as I want to look into ordering some items for the Tag days that I am going to be arranging for my 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer team. It's the sort of thing that is good to use for a tag day gift that I am most interested it getting a look at "in person" if that would be possible (perhaps at camp or maybe after the weekend is over?).

Hi Carolyn It's too hard to do this at camp, as I wouldn't be able to do it on site, it would have to be in the parking lot, and not even sure that would be possible. Email me to my email below and I'll send you a fundraiser pricing list. There are lots of great things available for both the ride and the walk for tag days. I can't bring everything with me, so I'll be concentrating on things that people can put in thier fanny packs etc, or use on the walk, so no bulky items.
pins, pens, rain ponchos, sunglasses, key chains, silicone (in all the colours on my site) lanyards, bracelets, tattooes, water bottles, hats, flip flops, flashlight key chains, mint tins, and more
I've had a few people ask me where the pit stop is.... It's at Summit Heights School which is in the Bathurst & Wilson area.
I know some people are in a hurry after lunch and don't always want to stop at the pit stops, but this one will be worth it, Trade Secrets has some fun stuff in store for all of us.
And of course, you can do a little shopping while you're there.
Randy, I didn't need the poncho I bought last year, but I sure needed it on my Tag Day on Saturday - probably could have used a Monsoon coat!!! But the pink poncho kept people coming to see me in the driving wind and rain. Thanks!! It's a great item to have. And I sold EVERYTHING!!! Thanks for all your help!
My bags are packed...I'm ready to go....I'm standing here, outside my door... See you all in the morning! and please make sure to stop by Pit stop #3, fun things planned courtesy of Trade Secrets, and please drop by the Think Pink Direct table to say hi to my hubby Richard, and my girls Carly & Hailey.
