Has anyone else tried to get their team name from last year only to be told it has already been taken?

I've been Saving Second Base for three years now and wanted to carry it into next year only to be told that it was already taken. 

How does this happen?

There were many similar names to ours, Circle of Friends, the first year. However each year we added 2nd Annual, 3rd Annual.....we're now Circle of Friends 8th Annual. Maybe you could add 4th annual to your original team name and keep progressing from there....at least the other team wouldn't be able to do that.
