I just wanted to encourage you to send out an email to your friends, family and neighbours telling them about the event and what you've already accomplished i.e. if you're a returning walker or crew member talk about your experience, why you signed up etc. I sent out an email yesterday and already received $300 in donations!
And don't forget about those incentives the Office is offering this year Raise $100 before end of October and receive another $100 Receive $100 if you have raised $1250 before December 31 2009. Receive $100 if you have raised $1900 before Jan 31 2010. And finally, receive $100 for recruiting new walkers between September 14- July 11 2010.
