Good Morning!! Can't believe how excited that I am!!!! I spoke to staff last week .... they assured me that we would have access to hot showers, however there is no electrical availability for blowdryers smile.gif If someone that has spent the evening could confirm - that would be fantastic!!

There are showers set up in big tractor trailers. They are nice and hot! :) When you walk in to the trailer, you'll see a line of curtains. When you pick a stall and go in through the first curtain, that's your private changing area (with bench). further in there's another curtain where the actual shower is. I found it easiest to put something heavy (my bag) on the bench and on the curtain to hold it shut so people knew I was in that stall.
You'll want to bring shower shoes though, as the water at your feet is the water that everyone in the other shower stalls has showered in. :)
There are sinks outside the trailers for hand, face washing, teeth brushing etc. I think they had mirrors too. Not that I really wanted to look in one of those on Sunday morning. lol

I don't recall that there was any electricity for blow dryers though.

this is true. The showers are portable and there's no electricity.

Noreen is correct. No electricity.

However, if anyone is energetic enough to follow me out west next year the trailer's are from a different company. It's the difference between camping and staying in a motel. Ladies trailer has curling irons, straighteners, hair dryers, all the toiletries you could ask for including mousse, hair spray, body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc. you don't have to bring anything other than a tooth brush and toothpaste and if you forget that they have that too!!

Consider walking in more than one city, join Butterfly of Hope and walk out west. It is an amazing way to see our beautiful country and give back all at the same time. Tie it in with a vacation, you won't regret it!!
