Bag

Hmmm, I am packing my weekend bag...it is amazing how many things you accumalate to bring to the walk, just the packing list alone...Are we allowed 2 bags, 1 bag...does anyone know?  There is no way my sleeping bag and other various needed things like gee shoes are going to fit in the mediumish bag I am trying to bring.

confuse

The best type of bag I have found from experience is a hockey bag.  I am able to put my clothes, sleeping bags and such in the one bag. I hope that this helps.

The answer to your first question is one bag. If you can't find a hockey bag to use you can wrap your sleeping bag in plastic and bungee cord it to your bag. That way it is hooked on securely and still counts as one bag.

OH!  I have hockey bags, I just was thinking small packing. But, I am guessing from the posts and the check list I am going to have to rethink my choice lolwink Is a hockey bag pretty much standard size for folks to bring?  My Mom says it will be easier to pack for weather this way biggrin So, I guess I dig out the ole hockey bag and get it packed up!
THANKS all

Just remember to air the hockey bag out before you put your stuff in! If yours is anything like the one of my son's that I'm using, a little Febreeze might be necessary too!

Hi

It will be easier for you to only have one bag - so a big one with pillow and sleeping bag works best but if you cant fit it all in one - tie them together so you dont lose them - or at least tag them both

The crew doing luggage is great and I have never heard of anyone losing their luggage or bags so dont worry - and this is my 6th event!!!!  Do what works best for you and no one will say you cant have 2 bags or your bag is too big - just remember that volunteers lift them into the truck so 2 lighter ones is better than one heavy one - both for you and for them

see you on the route!!!!
