Hi ALL!

I'm Brianne's teammate, Tania, and I have time to stand outside an LCBO or other store in Bri's stead. If anyone has a tag day in the GTA available for Saturday August 22, I'd love to take it off your hands and help my girl Bri out!

Let me know. No Trekker will be left behind, even if I have to stand outside every LCBO in the GTA to do it!

Ladies, why not try hosting a garage sale?

I did that last year and raised $500.

As friends for donations - in money - or items that they'll donate to you for your sale.
Make sure you post tons of signs leading to the house and have more signs at the house advertising you're raising money for this cause.

It's worth a try

Ashley, great minds think alike as that was our first extremely successful fundraiser!

It was a seriously dreadful pouring rain saturday in June, and we still made $400! :)

There was a post by elegantlady a while back for a lcbo trade for Aug 15 and nothing about if she managed to find someone, has her num 416-284-5544. If she didn't trade and can't do might give it to you if you can do that day. Grocery stores might give you some days also. Good luck.

I am about $800 away from meeting my goal. I live in Richmond Hill. I would be very grateful if you would be willing to give me this Tag Day if you haven't already given it to Tania. This is my 6th year doing this walk and do to some unexpected circumstances, this year there has been some obstacles in raising the funds. If I am able to raise above and beyond the 2,000, I will pass on the extra money to someone else in need.

try a bottle drive. photocopy a flyer and place it in the mailboxes in and team mates neighborhoods. Explain that you are fundraising for the walk and would appreciate the donation of refundable beer/wine/liqour bottles to support the cause.

Tell them that you will be by on a certain date and if they have any to donate, pleae leve them by the front door with your flyer taped to it so you know it is for you. This way as you drive by them homes you will know where to stop, and you will not be disturbing them when collecting.

you can also tell them if they want to make a cash donation they can ask you to knock when you pick up, or direct them to your site.
