I'm in the same boat, is anyone else not staying at camp? I'd definitely prefer to stay alone, as my husband informs me it's not nice to subject strangers to my snoring!

This will be my 4th year in a tent and I also like to be alone not much room in them. I have always been alone since people have their luggage moved there and then go to hotel. Last year person in my tent didn't leave but then just watched for those leaving and take the tent.
So far this has been no problem but I guess this is a good way to ensure getting own tent.

sounds like a terrific plan...I love camping but my sleep is so much better when not next to a stranger. If anyone else is planning on not tenting please contact me at naamphong@gmail.com I will need your full name so that when I do my registration for a tent I can put you as my tent mate.

I am in the same position - where I want to camp but would love to have an "absent tentmate" is there anybody out there who isn't camping and would be willing to say they are sharing a tent with me? I spoke with somebody at the office and they said that this is okay.

I am a 5 yr walker coming all the way from windsor and have raised over $15,000 so far in the 5 years. I know that the tents are tight and it would be great to have the extra sleeping room.
