Hi Everyone, I hope your fundraising efforts are going well. Just wanted you to know that my husband and I (both Naturopathic Doctors) are participating as coaches in this year's walk in Toronto. Although we don't offer free advice (since we do need to take a complete assessment of any client we work with), we are happy to answer simple questions that you may have about Naturopathic Medicine (for free) If you don't ask us, do make sure you always ask a knowledgable, Licensed practitioner about any questions you might have. Even though they are considered "natural," Naturopathic supplements (whether vitamins, minerals, herbs or even foods) can and do interact with chemotherapeutic agents -- sometimes positively, sometimes negatively. Please be careful with yours or your loved ones' health. We will be cheering for all of you through this upcoming amazing event. Wishing you all the best of health, Doc
Just curious about a couple of things. Are you MDs? Have you gone through medical school? Do you specialize in cancer or something else?
I have been thinking of seeing a Naturopath. I was speaking to my pharmacist and she said I should only see someone that is a Doctor, opposed to a homeopath that wasn't. I have some hormones that are out of balance and some other concerns. I am currently working with my family physician and an endochrinologist, but wanted to explore some "natural" options. I have been advised that I need to be very careful of what I use as there could be interactions with some medication I am on.
