For all of our Ottawa heroes - did they have the online check in for the Ottawa walk this past weekend?? How did that go? I am interested in how this will work for the Toronto walk! I am REALLY going to miss Day Zero on Friday afternoon!!!
I did on line check in for this weekend's Ride to Conquer Cancer and it was great. Watched the video, click a few buttons and then everything was mailed to me.
While I think that Day Zero is going to be missed by some for the walk I personally think they have made the best decision. Cost wise it is much more efficent then setting up everything on Friday. Also I know that coming into the city on the Friday is another expense and hassle for lots of participants. I for one will be saving the cost of a hotel room on Friday night and just coming in on Saturday morning.
