Hi there, I've had an offer of a store owner to have a 'box' of pink bracelets or ribbons she'll sell for me to try and raise money. Where do I get the bracelets or ribbons or other items to sell?
Wow, that's great that you've got a store owner to sell some stuff for you! I've been trying to find someone that would sell my bracelets in their store. :)
If you go to www.thinkpinkdirect.com you can get tons of pink ribbon items from Randy Mellon. Randy also does the walk among many other things. :)
I buy my pink ribbon charms from Randy, and make my own bracelets to sell. It's a lot of fun (although a lot of work), and has been my main fundraiser for the past 3 years.
Good luck and let us know how you do with the fundraising! :)

Hi When you go to Randys site email her and she will send you a walkers price list. You don't pay what you see on her site we get discount prices to help in fundraising.
Getting some of the bracelet charms and making your own jewlery can be a lot of fun - I agree with Noreen. My sister and I are walking for our first time this year and have decided to invite some of our best friends over to have a jewelry making party (my mom has actually taken jewelry making classes) - it's a nice way for your friends and family to help support the walk outside of any direct financial contribution.
Hi all, thanks very much for your reply...I will definitely check out Randy's site. Not sure I will be able to coordinate bracelet making, I'm working hard on an Art Glass sale right now, sponsorships, donations, logistics, etc....and I've got two small kids so even trying find to train is proving to be a challenge.:)
Yeah, finding time for it all can be really tough. The first year I decided to make the bracelets my Mom and I spent ALL of our spare time making bracelets. My Mom would take everything home to her place and make them while I was at work, then bring them all back to my place for as soon as I got home and we'd go until 1am! It was crazy, but fun! Since then, my Mom will make some at her place and I'll make most of them at my place. I do love having friends come over for a bracelet making party though. We get the music going and the drinks flowing and see what we can create. :) My Husband ties and glues them all for me, so it works out really well.
