Wendy and I have booked three church bazaars this year...never tried them before as fundraisers, so I'll let you know how we do.
The first is Saturday, November 15th at Eden United Church located at Winston Churchill Blvd and Battleford Road....right across from Meadowvale Town Centre. It will run from 9:30am to 3:00pm. If anyone is in the area, we hope you will drop by and say 'Hi'.
Will let you know about the others as we get closer to the dates.
Also managed to book two tag days at Walmart ...Dec. 21th and 21st...hope there are a lot of generous last minute shoppers heading that way.
Fundraising is well ahead of usual this year....but then we (Wendy and I) have two Rides and a Walk to raise funds for....that adds up to a whopping $14,000 we have to raise, not to mention Ride money for Wendy's daughter and son-in-law. Better to think of it one event at a time....sounds too intimidating to think of the total.
Hi Donna, I do the craft shows all the time. Actually my husband is an artist and does festivals in the summer, and some craft shows over the winter, so I was already an expert at sitting there all day waiting and hoping somebody will buy something! ha ha I'm booked in to a couple of craft show too (which I'll post) and hope they go well. I find that some of them I don't sell much at, then others I really sell a lot. It's really hit and miss.
I hope you do well on Saturday!!!! :)

2011 will be my sixth year walking, but it will be Ottawa this year.
After you've all been to visit Noreen at her craft show in Brampton on Nov. 22, please head south to Mississauga and visit Wendy and I at the Cawthra Park United Church's "Frosty Fair".
The church is located at 1465 Leda Avenue (Cawthra/QEW) and the fair runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
