We are hosting out Pink Party in Burlington on Friday November 14th.
It will be held at the Lions' Club on Pearl Street.
Tickets are only 20.00 each so why don't you come out and enjoy a night with the ladies and LOTS of dancing! Oh there will be "adult beverages" there too.
Why don't you bring a friend and enjoy a Girls Night out? We are hoping everyone will wear their pink proudly as we do have a prize for the best pink outfit. (that probably means the most fun/tacky outfit - ha ha)
Gents - why don't you send your significant other and a friend and take care of the kids while they enjoy a night out???? What a nice surprise - you would earn some brownie points with that one!

Sounds like fun!!! Two questions..... what time does it start? and do you now what kind of music will be playing? I'm not the best at driving, and Burlington is too far for me, but if I can convince a friend or two to come along, that would work. The type of music could either help or hinder when asking friends to come. Plus that fact that I would definitely be partaking in the adult drinks, so I'd need to find a driver anyway. Ha ha

2011 will be my sixth year walking, but it will be Ottawa this year.
The music will be modern and probably some 70s and 80s (everyone loves that) we are told the DJ will play what the guests want. If you have any special requests send them my way and I can check with him.
I am not sure where you are coming from but this is at the Lion's club. You can get there from exiting the QEW at Brant Street and heading South. It is easy to get to and I can provide specific directions.
It would be great to have you and a friend come out and a DD is always a good thing to have!! I am getting one for that night too!
I'm out in Brampton so we'd be coming from that direction. The reason why I asked about the music is because I just really can't take Dance, hip hop, techno, rap style of music. I can listen to anything else but that! lol My favorite is 80's I'll start asking around to see if I can get someone to come along with me, and be the DD. :) I'll let you know if I'm able to make it.
Oh, and yes, that is my head in the picture. I've dyed the pink ribbon in my hair two years in a row now. Assuming I'll be keeping the same style of haircut for next year, I'll do it again next Sept.! I like to stand out in the crowd..... ha ha

It seems that I won't be able to make it out on Friday night. I just found out that I was accepted in to a craft show on the Saturday and have to get up nice and early for it!! I'm not a morning person at all, so I'll have to make sure I get the car packed on Friday night and get to bed somewhat early.
I hope the party goes well and that you raise lots of money!!! :)
