In 2008 I had my partner Gord walking with me ( well, in his case pushing as those who know him, know that he is in a wheelchair ) He decided that a great way to raise money for this event would be to hire Rik Emmett Lead singer of Triumph and have him give a concert.
He approached the owner of The Johnny B Club in Whitby as a venue for this event and they agreed to hold the concert with a percentage of the ticket sales going towards the WETEBC. There will also be draws and 50/50 to help with the fund raising.
Please come out and enjoy a fun evening and Great music. The concert date is December the 6 at 9pm at Johnny B in Whitby at the AMC Plaza. Tickets will be available at the door and also at the Johnny B web site. Tickets will be selling for $30.00 and we hope to get aleast 500 people out to this event.
